DynaScan Updates Product Lineup with Five New Professional Displays

IRVINE, Calif. (Feb. 01, 2021) – DynaScan Technology, Inc., the leading manufacturer of ultra-high brightness displays, today announced the addition of five new models to its lineup of professional displays.

DynaScan President, Alan Kaufman is pleased to announce the new models, saying “DynaScan has always aimed to deliver the highest performance display technology and we are continually refining our products to meet the demands of the market. These new models include many features designed to give our customers more flexibility in CMS platforms, increased brightness for greater visibility in sunlight, as well as design improvements for a more premium appearance.”

New Window-Facing Ultra-High Brightness LCDs

Dual-Sided DW551DR4

Improving on its popular dual-sided high brightness display, DynaScan introduces the DW551DR4. Featuring both a 3000 and 1000 nits side, its unique design offers users an all-in-one solution for storefront window applications. The new model is capable of being installed in either portrait or landscape orientations and may be paired with DynaScan’s new Slim Floor Stand (ISK551DR) or suspended from a ceiling with DynaScan’s Ceiling Mount Kit (IHK551DR), offering users a clean and contemporary appearance.

DynaScan’s sunlight-viewable 55-inch DS552LT5 retains the same form factor as its predecessor but has been updated with a 4000 nits brightness rating—a 14% increase—while maintaining the same low power consumption. Designed for use in direct sunlight, the display features a high-Tni panel to reduce blackening-defect and utilizes a fanless thermal management system for virtually silent operation.

The DynaScan DS752LT5 is a 75-inch sunlight-viewable UHD LCD designed for high ambient light locations such as storefront windows and outdoor kiosks. Delivering a 4500 nits image, the display is 1000 nits brighter than the previous generation while maintaining the same low power consumption, and boasting a slimmer profile and reduction in weight.

DS861LR4

Measuring 86 inches, the DS861LR4 is the largest ultra-high brightness professional LCD offering from DynaScan. The display features UHD 4K resolution with a high brightness LED backlight producing a 3500 nits sunlight-viewable image. Compared to the previous 85-inch model, this display boasts a 21% decrease in typical power consumption, and with a depth of just 79 mm, the DS861LR4 is over 27% thinner than the previous generation.

Additionally, the new model now includes an Intel® SDM slot to accept an Intel® Smart Display Module (sold separately). Supporting a variety of today’s modern operating systems, Intel® SDM delivers the same level of intelligence and interoperability as the Open Pluggable Specification, but in a smaller form factor. The DS861LR4 is compatible with both the Intel® Small (Intel® SDM–S) and Intel® SDM Large (Intel® SDM–L) form factors.

DynaScan’s flagship 100-inch LCD has received an upgrade designed to give users more flexibility and options for their content management systems (CMS). The fanless display features a 700 nit UHD 4K image, a wide color gamut, and TrueColor™ calibration. The new model has received an enhanced SoC (system on a chip) configuration featuring increased storage capacity and Android™ 8.0 for greater application compatibility and enhanced security. The DI100ST2-M also adds an Intel® SDM slot for greater flexibility when choosing a CMS platform.

Okumura Corporation Disseminates Information from Its Office Window with High Brightness Displays

Okumura Corporation, a major general construction company that has undertaken numerous construction works in the civil engineering and construction fields, such as large public facilities, transportation facilities, and commercial facilities, by a corporate entity committed to the principles of “steadfast management” and “sincere operation,” and continue to play an essential role in society.

 

 

With the opening of the company‘s Hashimoto sales office for the big project of area development, large professional displays were installed inside the entire window next to the office entrance facing the sidewalk in order to disseminate information and corporate advertisements.

The display is DynaScan’s ultra-high brightness model DS752LR4, featuring a 75-inch display, 3500 nits brightness, and 4K resolution. Two of the displays were tiled up in a multi-screen configuration with a dedicated stand to maximize the use of the limited space near the window.

Even in the strong sunlight, the bright images have an impact and keeps high visibility which helps to improve the corporate image.
