With the NHL hockey season in full swing, and the NBA basketball season just around the corner, we would like to highlight how DynaScan 360 degree LED video displays can provide an attractive display solution for special event and sports venues. 360 Degree Video Display Centerpiece of Kawasaki National Dealer Meeting
Earlier this month, Kawasaki hosted its annual national dealer meeting earlier at the San Diego Convention Center in California. The national dealer meeting brings Kawasaki vehicle vendors together from across the country to see new models, learn about the new vehicles features and place orders. Working closely with AV and lighting design specialists, Brite Ideas Lighting, for multimedia and technical considerations, Kawasaki featured a DynaScan 360 degree LED video display as a centerpiece for the 23,000 ft² exhibition area. Measuring over 78” in diameter, the DS2012 is the largest of DynaScan’s indoor series.

Alan Kaufman Discusses Roles of Digital Signage in Multi-Channel Retail Environments
DynaScan president Alan Kaufman spoke to the role digital signage plays in multi-channel retailing during a discussion panel last week at the OVAB Munich Digital Signage Conference. The panel covered topics which included the roles digital signage plays in cross-platform strategies, how it can be used to effectively improve the customer experience, and how it can be used for analytics and greater customer insight. DynaScan Updates 55-inch Super Narrow Bezel LCD with IPS Panel, Brighter Image, Lower Power Consumption
DynaScan Technology, a leader in manufacturing premium public displays, today introduced a new version of its 55-inch super narrow bezel LCD, the DS551LX2. The new display includes a multitude of new features including a new IPS panel, brighter 800 nit image, a 50% reduction in power consumption and a wider range of video input resolutions. The DS551LX2 now includes an IPS LCD panel which dramatically improves accurate color when viewing from all angles. JEA and Urban Intelligence Make Ultimate Outdoor Television with DynaScan High Brightness LCDs
Our friends Down Under, JEA Technologies, recently were involved in an amazing residential installation in the backyard of one Australian resident. Working with audio/visual specialists Urban Intelligence, the companies put together a 3×3 video wall consisting of nine 55″ high brightness LCDs, model DS55LT6, to create a massive 166″ outdoor television. A daylight viewable brightness of 5,000 nits means video can be seen day or night – even in direct sunlight.
